June Reserves at $81.41 Billion

Gross international reserves narrowed to $81.41 billion in June, $764 million lower than the $82.17 billion in May. This was also the lowest since March when the level stood at $80.89 billion. The decline was attributed to outflows arising from the central bank’s foreign exchange operations, payments by the national government for its maturing foreign obligations, and revaluation adjustments on its gold holdings…
