Lopez Bypassed a Third Time; Commission on Appointments to Reopen Hearing in May

The Commission on Appointments (CA) has officially bypassed Environment Secretary Gina Lopez for a third time. The CA said it would give Lopez a chance when Congress resumes session in May to respond to the testimony of Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez that she did not follow due process when she issued the closure orders, hence the reason for the re-audit being conducted by the Mining Industry Coordinating Council.
