Unused Frequencies to be Recalled, as Two More Players in Telco Sector Eyed

The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) said it would recommend taking back all unused and unpaid frequencies in the telecommunications sector. Freeing up idle frequency would increase the available spectrum for new players. The DICT said that after conducting the inventory, there might be enough space for two more players to rival the PLDT and Globe duopoly
