January Inflation Up to 2.7%

Inflation stood at 2.7 percent in January, the fastest in more than two years since it registered at 3.7 percent in November 2014. This was driven mainly by the higher price adjustment in housing, water, electricity, gas, and fuel. The number was slightly higher than the 2.6 percent in December, and more than twice the 1.3 percent in January 2016.
