DENR Says Mining Industry Account for Only 0.6% of GDP

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) clarified that the mining firms affected by the agency’s closure and suspension orders account for 40.971% of industry jobs in 2015, as well as 41.425% of taxes collected and 22.463% of investments that same year.
