Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP, Philippine central bank) governor Amando Tetangco’s term might not be extended anymore. Tetangco, who has been widely praised for his stewardship of Philippine monetary policy despite local political upheaval and international financial crisis, was earlier asked by Duterte’s finance officials to stay for a third six-year term.
