Russia Wants Joint Naval Exercises with the Philippines

Russia said it wants to conduct joint naval exercises with the Philippine Navy in order to fight terrorism and piracy. The announcement came after two Russian warships docked in Manila, as President Rodrigo Duterte expressed keenness on developing deeper ties between the two countries.
