Duterte May Cancel Defense Agreement with US

President Rodrigo Duterte said he is studying the possibility of cancelling the Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement (EDCA) between the Philippines and the United States. The agreement calls for the stationing of American troops in Philippine soil, among others. Duterte said EDCA was never signed by former President Benigno Aquino III.
