Shell Petroleum Ordered to Pay P5.72-Billion in Back Taxes

The Court of Tax Appeals ordered Pilipinas Shell Petroleum to pay P5.72 billion in unpaid excise and value-added taxes. This is pursuant to a 2015 decision that two gasoline components, Catalytic Cracked Gasoline (CCG) and Light Catalytic Cracked Gasoline (LCCG), used as raw materials were taxable.
